Our Story
Land and Sea started with love. I love coffee, the outdoors, surfing, photography, and community. I have always enjoyed coffee early in the morning while checking the surf. Last two years, I clocked in over 55,000 miles driving up and down the Baja and California coast, surfing, shooting, and sipping coffee at different locations along the way.
Coffee brings me a feeling of being grounded and in the moment. I think back to waking up early at a beautiful beach, brewing some fresh coffee, and taking in the beauty around me.
I eventually started posting stories of brewing coffee in my van at beautiful coastal locations. Stories would go up, and I would receive messages like “I wish I were enjoying a cup of coffee at a beach instead of my office” or “You are living the life, enjoying coffee and living Vanlife.”
My old high school friend Beth who has been in the coffee business for as far back as I remember said you should start your own coffee company.
And that’s when my wheels started turning. I thought, what if I could create an organic fair trade coffee company and incorporate what I love and value? An outdoors healthy lifestyle, great coffee, community, and show it through photography.
Sounds crazy, right? Anything worth doing has to be a little crazy. I am happy you are here and welcome to the Land & Sea Community!
